Synopsis
1. The Spiritual Significance of Hajj
Explore Hajj as more than a physical pilgrimage, but a journey of repentance, renewal, unity and total submission to Allah. Participants will reflect on the meanings behind the rites of Hajj and the values they cultivate in a believer’s life.
2. Qurban as an Act of Faith and Sacrifice
Understand the significance of Qurban through the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.) and Prophet Ismail (a.s.), and how this act of worship embodies sincerity, obedience, generosity and trust in Allah.
3. Shared Lessons from Hajj and Qurban
Discover the common themes of sacrifice, taqwa, gratitude and servitude that connect both acts of worship, and how these lessons remain relevant beyond the sacred seasons.
4. Living the Spirit of Hajj and Qurban Daily
Reflect on how the values of patience, sacrifice, compassion and submission can be applied in everyday life, even for those who have not yet performed Hajj. Lessons that we can learn when our family members are chosen to perform Hajj.
